Janet has been working for Mother’s Day Out programs for the past 10 years. She started as a substitute teacher for her son’s class. After a few years, she was given an opportunity to open her own Mother’s Day Out at her friend’s church.

She loves working with children, watching them grow, and helping them learn to better prepare them for kindergarten. However, as a director and owner, she doesn’t get to interact with the children as much as she would like. When Janet saw Zero Gravity was looking for a floating aide, she felt this would be the perfect opportunity to work directly with the children again.

Janet has been married for 25 years and has 3 children: Parker who is 10, Ashley who is 13, and Preston who is 15. Janet and her husband have lived in Austin for the past 13 years in the Davis Spring neighborhood.

While she does not have much spare time between homework with 3 kids, her daughter’s gymnastics schedule (she is a level 7 gymnast), and her son’s karate schedule, Janet enjoys scrapbooking, card making, and reading when time allows.

Janet truly enjoys working with your children and looks forward to watching them learn and grow.
