John was born in Austin, Texas and went to school at Bastrop and Reagan High School.  John has moved around throughout his life and has had the opportunity to experience and enjoy many cities across Texas.

While building a family of three daughters John came across a gymnastics facility where his daughter had attended a birthday party and personally took interest in the sport. John has demonstrated his love for children through his coaching.
